Designing at JOAN studios to create social asets for eBay was one of the most thrilling experiences. We worked fast flipping 30-50 assets daily ensuring eBay’s social messaging aligned with their brand aesthtic, all while briefing their influencers with objectives to sell eBay’s storefont.

Daily Job Objectives 

+ Design social ads for Instagram, Tiktok, Pinterst, Snapchat

+ Collaborate across studio team to deliever 100+ assets 

+ Pitch copy to be pass off to copywriter to refine eBay’s messaging

+ Art Direct the editing team, providing timestamps, design templates, and assets to ensure quality control 

+ Brief influencers on monthly briefs aligning with eBay’s social marketing needs

+ File managament for package and deliver to eBay

GAYLETTER
SOCIAL MEDIA PITCH 2025

GAYLETTER is a biannual print magazine and weekly email newsletter focusing on queer culture and nightlife in New York City. Founded in 2008 by Tom Jackson and Abi Benitez, it initially served as a guide to alternative gay events before expanding to cover art, fashion, music, and literature.

Visual Strategy 

Papi Diva’s Social Media pitch for GAYLETTER 2025 focused on honoring minimal typography and maximizing visuals within all social media channel real-estate. The strategy concluded by solidifying Gayletter’s social channels and creating a formula and key terms to design for our audience through the refinement of intentional visuals and jaw-dropping headlines.
