Multi-Media Assistant Internship
PAPIDIVA.COM is seeking a part-time Fall Semester-long paid intern. This position is open to undergraduate students enrolled in an accredited academic program or self-taught designers navigating the industry without following the traditional educational route.
The design assistant will work with the Creative Director to assist the PAPIDIVA.COM studio with various client projects, researching, analyzing political and cultural shifts, attending out-of-office events, and developing experience in designing mixed media.
This internship is in-office, with hybrid-flexibility, on-site, at events.
For Fall 2025, the intern will commit between 8-10 hours per week, and the official date of the internship begins September to January 1st, with the possibility of internship extension:

Job Details:
- Assisting the Creative Director with client project’s from start to finish
- Research, archive, and design a multitude of elements for PAPIDIVA.COM
- Write a weekly blog post for the School of Papi Diva, about your design-dynamics, interests, and/or creative thoughts
- Edit and experiment with animation, video, and audio for Papi Diva Cam, and client projects
- Support adminstrative work like invoices, and support client & community outreach
- Having fun, and learning how to make your dreams come true
Skills & Qualifications
- Enrolled in a Graphic Design, Digital Design, Web, or 2/3D Animation degree
- Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere
- Understands the design principles, but has a passion for breaking the rules
- Values research, note taking, and sketching
- Understands the importance of art history, process, and critique
- Minoring in cultural studies, gender/sexual politics, and social justice is a major plus (+)
- Motion graphics, 3D modeling, or web design knowledge is a major plus (+)
- Must be proficient in the Spanish language, or interest in learning Spanish (+)
